I posted the following last year, I used the representation of the inkwell for St. Matthew, the above is a more common representation.
Today is the feast of Apostle and Evangelist St. Matthew. He was a publican and tax collector before he followed Our Lord. Was the first to record the account and teachings of Jesus Christ.
Among his patronages are; bookkeepers, security forces, and tax collectors.
Sancte Matthæe, ora pro nobis
