Sister Thérèse of the Child Jesus, take the place of Mother who is there no longer - Prayer of an artilleryman found at the Carmel Chapel in Lisieux, among the many testimonies left in thanksgiving for the saint's protection. Read more here.

Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face appeared on the battlefields and at the trenches of WWI. Artillery, planes and regiments where named after her. I'm sure the whiny atheist of today that like to complain about crosses in the middle of the desert would find that fine and dandy.

Sancta Teresia a Iesu infante, ora pro nobis
